Richard Hector, MD

I treat one patient at a time, and each patient as the individual they are.

Dr Hector is a fellowship trained (Emory University) Corneal/External disease specialist who also provides comprehensive ophthalmic evaluation and care. He joined The Eye Associates in 1986 after serving 13 years in the US Army. He obtained the rank of LT Colonel and was the assistant chief of the Dept of Ophthalmology at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. After moving the Bradenton, Dr Hector’s easygoing attitude and kindness quickly made him a favorite among patients and staff.
