Dr. Mercandetti its very knowledgeable attentive, professional, and precise. He is an expert in his field. I was referred to him by other opthamologists who do opthamological surgery. Not only does he take care of the visual aspect of the eyes, he does with botox and fillers and helping people look their best. He is not one to promote surgery thats going to have people look overdone. He is honest, ethical and a good listener. A great asset to our Medical Community.

Just returned home from my final post op appointment, and I am extremely pleased with the results. I had cataract surgery on my left eye. Dr Quigley performed the surgery and it went perfectly. He was professional, answered any and all questions I had in depth. He even said I would be able to play the piano, which is odd because I couldnt before the surgery.After todays appointment, as I exited the exam room, a sales representative from on site opticians greatest me. Quite honestly I was afraid I was being hustled. It turned out they walked me through the process of getting new glasses for my new prescription through Medicare rather than at my own expense and vision policy. A significant savings.The only reason I didnt give five stars was nobody is perfect but they were close.

I have complete confidence in Dr. Mercandett. Ive had eye lid cancer twice in the last ten yrs. Hes done surgery both times and results couldnt have turned out better. Ive recommended several friends to his office and they also couldnt be more pleased.

Had gone to him once suddenly my eye became very swollen. I called him on Saturday night, he was fifty miles away. I met him at his office on Sat night at nine. Have me antibiotics etc said if worse in am needed hospital. He called me at eight Sunday morning, it was worse. He had me go to Sarasota hospital while he arranged for me to see a major specialist. Was in hospital for seven days. Unbelievable customer service.
