After working in my garden landscape, I picked up my tools and materials and went into my home. It was extremely hot and I was constantly wiping my brow with my gloved hand. As soon as I came inside, I suddenly realized I couldnt see clearly. It was like my eyes were covered in Vaseline. Thinking it would pass. The condition persisted into the next day. I finally call Quigley and was told to come in right away. After a thorough exam and a host of questions, my doctor asked if I had any contact with milkweed? I remarked Yes, just days before Im my butterfly garden. Milkweed toxins had transferred from my gloved hand onto my face when wiping away perspiration. I was amazed since I never mentioned milkweed or butterfly garden throughout the questioning. Great diagnosis Doctor!!
