Dr. Fayssal El‑Jabali is a Fellowship-trained Medical and Surgical Retina Specialist that is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. El-Jabali began his education with a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He then continued to Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL before doing his medical internship at St John’s Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan. He then did a General Surgery second-year residency training in Queens, New  York. Then he continued to do his Ophthalmology Residency training in Queens and Brooklyn, New York. Following this, he further decided to continue on the Ophthalmology path, and do extra Fellowship training in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the Retinal Institute in Hawaii.

Dr. El‑Jabali brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practices, utilizing the most modern technology in both surgical and medical treatments of retinal disorders. He speaks English and Arabic fluently and speaks conversational French and American Sign Language (ASL).

Dr. El-Jabali has a passion for clinical research studies and believes they are the key to medical advances. Because of this, he has partnered with multi-national scientific institutions in search of new retina treatments for present and future generations. As an academic leader in the retinal community, Dr. El-Jabali has collaborated on advanced studies and clinical trials. His hope is that his research will contribute to the discoveries of new treatments, and a possible cure and/or prevention of sight-threatening retinal eye diseases.
