Dr. Duane Wiggins specializes in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and LASIK surgery. Dr. Wiggins earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. After completing his residency at the Scott and White Hospital and Clinic in Temple, Texas, Dr. Wiggins became fellowship trained in Laser Refractive Surgery at the International Eyecare Laser Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Wiggins, his wife, Anna, their five children and proud PawPaw of two grandchildren live in Naples. They enjoy exploring the great outdoors with activities such as camping, hiking, water sports, snow skiing, and biking. Very much a family man, Dr. Wiggins says that he finds time with family is one of the most enjoyable way to spend his time.
When not at work or with his family, you might find Dr. Wiggins at the gym, as physical fitness is extremely important to him.
Having performed thousands of cataract and laser procedures, Dr. Wiggins has become one of the most skilled surgeons in his field, and is also the proud recipient of the TLC Laser Vision Milestone Award as well as many other awards.
