Megan Patterson, OD

Dr. Patterson earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2021. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2025, where she was president of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, president of the Lions Club service organization, and treasurer of the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society.  She completed a residency in Cornea and Contact Lens at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, with an emphasis in Anterior Segment and Refractive and Ocular Surgery. Dr. Patterson has conducted a research study on keratoconic scleral lens wearers, has given COPE-approved lectures, and has presented posters at national meetings such as AAO, GSLS, and SECO. Her professional interests include corneal pathology, specialty contact lenses, neuro-ophthalmic disease, and surgical co-management. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians. When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Patterson enjoys going to the beach, working out, and spending time with her dog and cat.
