Dr. Nika Priest-Allen received her degree in medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and completed her ophthalmology residency and trained specifically to become a cataract surgeon at the world- renowned Kresge Eye Institute/Wayne State Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Priest-Allen is a renowned cataract surgeon and glaucoma specialist known for her excellent surgical skills. She has a strong commitment to the care and treatment of her patients and continues to provide them with the latest technology in eye surgery.
As an experienced and exceptional glaucoma specialist, Dr. Priest-Allen stays abreast of the latest technology and treatment options to ensure your best possible vision. She performs a wide variety of minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries and lasers, including the iStent® and the XEN® Gel Stent.
Dr. Priest-Allen grew up in Fort Myers and was excited to return with her husband to raise their two children here. After many years away for medical training, she is happy to now live less than a mile away from her parents.
In addition to playing the violin, Dr. Priest-Allen enjoys going to the beach with her family and they love a good game of laser tag. She also can speak Persian (Farsi).
