Dr. Debra McCracken received a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She also received from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition, Dr. McCracken has completed specialized training in laser vision correction for patient care and management. She is also the author of multiple research articles.
Dr. McCracken has traveled to Mexico and Jamaica to provide eye care to populations in need. She enjoys making a difference for others.
Dr. McCracken grew up in Toledo, Ohio, as one of six children. She moved to South Florida to begin practice in 1994. She has a daughter and multiple animals.
Dr. McCracken enjoys boating and the warm South Florida weather. She also has an octopus collection (Krakens).
