Yudith Ruiz-Arias received a Medical Degree from the Institute of Medical Science of Villa Clara Cuba where she also completed a residency in ophthalmology. She worked as an ophthalmologist in Cuba and an ophthalmology specialist in Nassau, Bahamas.
After moving to Florida, Yudith received her associate in science degree in vision care technology/opticianry at Miami Community College and worked as an optician and ophthalmic technician.
Yudith then went back to school at Florida International University to receive her Bachelor in Science of Nursing (Magna Cum Laude) and then Master Degree in Nursing where she graduated as Family Nurse Practitioner.
As a caring, loyal and dedicated practitioner, Yudith loves to help people and see the smile on a patient’s face after the improvement to their vision.
Originally from Cuba, Yudith moved to Florida in 1999 and has lived in Cape Coral since 2005. She and her husband, Jose Agustin, have been married since 1994 and are proud of their two children – Adrian, a retired Airman and cyber security specialist, and Beatriz, a microbiologist who is studying to become an optometrist.
When not working, Yudith enjoys family gatherings, sewing, decorating, going to the beach and traveling.
