He began his academic journey at the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He pursued his passion for medicine at Florida State University, obtaining his Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Wickas further honed his skills during his residency in Ophthalmology at Nassau University Medical Center. His commitment to advancing his expertise led him to pursue a fellowship in Refractive Surgery in coordination with the World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences.
