Guillermo Del Campo, OD, FOVDR

Dr. Guillermo Del Campo is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered eye care for individuals of all ages. He has extensive experience in primary eye care, ocular disease management, contact lenses, and binocular vision disorders. His unique background also includes advanced training in vision rehabilitation, helping patients with strabismus, amblyopia, traumatic brain injuries, developmental vision disorders, and other complex visual conditions improve their visual function and quality of life.

A graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree cum laude, Dr. Del Campo has built his career by combining evidence-based medicine with compassionate, individualized care. Before relocating to Florida, he practiced in Virginia and Washington, where he collaborated closely with physiatrists, neurologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with complex visual needs.

Dr. Del Campo is a Fellow of the Optometric Vision Development and Rehabilitation Association (FOVDR), one of the profession’s highest distinctions in binocular vision and vision rehabilitation. He has received numerous honors throughout his career, including the OVDRA President’s Award. He is also an invited lecturer, presenting on topics including traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, binocular vision disorders, and collaborative patient care.

Beyond patient care, Dr. Del Campo is passionate about advancing the profession of optometry. He previously served as President of the King County Optometric Society (East) in Seattle, Washington, has held multiple leadership positions within local and national optometric organizations, and currently mentors fellowship candidates pursuing advanced certification in vision development and rehabilitation. He also served as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at Pacific University College of Optometry, where he enjoyed mentoring and training future generations of optometrists.

Dr. Del Campo believes that exceptional eye care extends beyond prescribing glasses or contact lenses. He values taking the time to educate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and build lasting relationships founded on trust, compassion, and open communication. Outside the office, Dr. Del Campo enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also an optometrist, and their daughter. As a family, they enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors, and staying active. He is an avid hiker, snowboarder, and strength-training enthusiast, and has a strong interest in wellness, holistic health, nutrition, and longevity. His personal passion for healthy living reflects his commitment to helping patients optimize not only their vision, but their overall health and quality of life.
