A first time visit at an eye doctor is always very involved, add the need to be evaluated for cataract surgery and you are adding a whole other level of care and observation. With that said, the visit from myMother, Edith entailed quite a lot. It started with my phone call to make the appt and the representative by the name of MARY was extremely helpful with setting up my mothers appt. She did not miss a beat. insurance questions were answered, timing for the appt and even a brief snapshot of the before and after of cataract surgery. Upon arriving to our appt, the l staff at Eye associates in Sarasota went above and beyond their scope of practice, especially since my mom has dementia! They were kind, patient and very informative.
