As a 75-year old paying attention to my eye care was low on my list of things to do; then last year my bride convinced me to see an eye doctor.I saw Dr. Joseph Vandenberg of the Sun City Center Eye Associates whose team first did a very detailed exam consisting of several tests and then time with Dr. Vandenberg who pointed out the good and bad followed by several recommendations which I followed, but not with the frequency my wife recommended.On 1/26/26 I had my yearly follow-up and as with last year, several series of tests conducted by extremely professional technicians and then my meeting with Dr. Vandenberg wherein, given all factors, my eyes are doing well for my age. Continuation of the dry eye therapy at home was reemphasized and also had a contact prescription accomplished so I can get back to my favorite hobby of golfing.Bottom line, getting an appointment was easy, the appointments are conducted by friendly and professional technicians, and the overall outcome was a very positive one.
