This was my very second time having an eye exam since 2013. The staff at the front dusk were very friendly and helpful. The staff that performed the eye exams and applied eye drops for dilation were very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I saw Michael Camp, OD who was very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. After my eye exam I saw Charlene Walker, licensed optician for new eye glasses. She was very professional and knowledgeable regarding progressive lenses and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend OPT of Ellenton for your eye care.

I have very high standards when it comes to medical care. As a former nurse practitioner, I know what quality care should look like. I write 5-star reviews when a practice meets those standardsand Im equally willing to speak up when it doesnt.I was referred to Eye Associates by a neighbor whose judgment I trust. After moving, I needed to establish care. A prior provider had told me I had cataracts requiring surgery, which surprised me given that my last exam up north was only seven months earlier said I didnt have cataracts. It didnt feel right, so I sought a second opinion.At Eye Associates, the staff and providers were professional, friendly, and thorough. Amy conducted my exam and answered my questions with patience and clarity. The team dynamic stood out right awaycollaborative and supportive.Dr. Trim followed up, clarified remaining questions, and confirmed that while my prescription needed adjustment, cataract surgery is not necessary at this time.This visit reinforced the value of a thoughtful second opinion. Im grateful to have found a practice that prioritizes patient-centered care.
