I have received excellent care from all the doctors and staff at all their locations. Dr. Hector was the 1st dr. to suspect that I had an autoimmune disease, based on recurring redness and dry eyes. He ordered extensive bloodwork. 2 months later I was on infusions for a very rare and dangerous autoimmune disease... fatal if not treated! Dr. Hector is so experienced ... he really listened to me and took time to find my underlying problem rather than just prescribing continual treatment. He also referred my husband to a neuro opthalmologist for double vision. I appreciate drs. who take the time to research your problem and ask for the the wisdom of specialists when needed. Now I get serum tears, made from my blood, which actually allows you to treat dry eye with your own real tears rather than having to use artificial tears. My sister even drives 3 hours from Orlando to get hers here in Bradenton because no one does them there! Eye Associates has a very efficient staff. I always see several people when I come. They also sell lots of eye products right there in the office. Just plan to be there a long time as they often get behind. If I had any recommendations for them, it would be to update the look of their office.
