First off, I was grateful to be seen by Dr. Memoli. I was experiencing new light flashes in my eye and blur, and was told by the eye doctor @Quigley in Port Charlotte that I had been to 2 weeks prior, if I had more, to call because I needed to be seen right away. Well, I did call. It was on a Friday morning. The Port Charlotte Quigley Eye Center said they couldn't get me in until the following Tuesday! This is my sight people! Though considering I should have been seen on that, Friday...the Quigley Eye Center in North Port saw me on Monday morning. Luckily, I didn't get any worse before then. I was pleased with Dr. Memoli's professional care. I don't blame the Doctor in the Port Charlotte office, I blame her staff for not taking the patients situation as serious as their doctor's do. I am hoping, for the sake of the possibility of a real emergency for any future patients (including myself), that the receptionists have a better understanding of 'when a doctor says a patient needs to been seen right away. . They don't make them wait 4 days!!! Let alone even 1. Thank Dr. Memoli for your 'Quality of Care'. (I would say the same about the doctor herself in Port Charlotte as well).
