I'm giving them a 5 star only because everyone there was very friendly and Dr. El-Jabali was great too even though I was frustrated & in a grumpy mood Plus, the building was attractive inside & out as wellWhoever made my appointment for a retina specialist didn't bother to share with me at all that the appointment could be 2-3 hours long That would have made a huge impact on my day and attitude! Sharing this important information should be a must for schedulers to disclose when booking those appointments. My appointment took 2 hours total, with maybe only 10-15 minutes with Dr El-Jabali. This probably included sharing my frustration in waiting so long. What made it worse was that my husband & dog were waiting in the car for me the whole time We drove together so we could do some errands afterwards, but it definitely delayed our afternoon.This was my first time at Ellenton's clinic, plus seeing a specialist at that location. My previous appointment in Sun City with a different retina specialist only took about an hour. I now realize that each appointment is unique...depending greatly on the cases that come in each day, with some requiring surgery. It helps so much to be informed about appointments, so please share this with your schedulers

Their professionalism and results are 5-star. I knocked rating down to 4 because the organization is corporately confusing. I've never seen or spoken to the same person twice (except both doctors Rubin and O'Neil). Any issue required calls to six people and six phone numbers. Additionally, I wrote six letters over six weeks to have issues clearly stated, documented and resolved. Not one letter was acknowledge nor addressed. The organization is a bundle of corporate confusion. That said, I'm satisfied as my eyes were fixed.

Great visit. New office is beautiful. All of the medical staff are great!!
