Here's my timeline: Today is Saturday. Retired and moved to Siesta Key, FL Tuesday. While walking on the gorgeous sugary white Siesta Key Beach Thursday morning, I noticed foggy and fuzzy vision in one eye that did not improve all day/night. Friday morning I goggled and called The Eye Associates at 10 am. Saw Dr. Robert Friedman at 11 am (this guy is a Rockstar) and Dr. Joshua Mali (he is simply incredible) at 1:30 pm. Dr. Mali (the retina guru) performed emergency procedures (both Laser surgery and Cryopexy) on my retina tear. I left at 4:45 pm after total 6 hours of bruising treatment. Met Nyla, Angelica, Lexi, Roxana (all great nurses) and some wonderful warm and friendly people on earth. Seriously!! I've lived in the heart of Bethesda, MD for 30+ years in the shadows of NIH, FDA, Bethesda (National) Naval Hospital, Walter Reed, USUHS, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown U. (You get the picture). I couldn't have received such great care in such SHORT NOTICE in Bethesda or DC or in Virginia. There is just NO WAY!! BTW, this is my very first review ever anywhere anyplace anytime on any subject. Thanks to Dr. Mali and Dr. Friedman in specific and their whole teams in general.
